The world seemed a lot kinder.
Not long back, I backtrack.
People appeared plain and clear.
Everyone seemed near and dear.
The betrayal that every heart bears,
People put on many layers.
Honesty has now become scarce.
Humanity slowly impairs.
Has it always been the same?
Or are we to blame?
