What's in the way, other than you? : A Poem

How many of you have dreams? Surely, every one of you may have a goal in life. Nonetheless, a question arises – what number of you have worked for the dream to make it a reality? Very few, right.

You may have a dream of exceptionally essential things or luxurious things throughout your life. Some of them may be in your grasp, while some might be most certainly not.

Be that as it may, as said, nothing is unthinkable; attempting to accomplish what your goal is generally significant than just dreaming about it.

Melancholy is temporary; passion, deep passion, is not.

Consider yourself lucky if you know what your passion is. Not everyone finds it.

Pursuing what you love can be difficult, and people might deter you from your ambition, but staying firm on what you believe is essential.

The only thing stopping you from taking action is self-doubt. Doubt inflicted by yourself or induced by others. You start to fear the consequences and the results.

Am I good enough?

Can I do this?

Is it even possible for me to achieve this?

Countless dreams yet to be true,

What's in the way, other than you?

Waiting for things to happen,

Without moving, you feel fallen.

Overthinking, chances you blew,

Filled with regret, further, you slew.

Waiting for the big rescue,

No one's here, only you.

Might as well get your belt fastened,

The way is long, don't be frightened.

Start working, day in and day out,

You'll emerge stronger, no doubt.

Discipline brings you control,

Persistence paves the way to your goal.

You decide who you become.

Someone who succumbs,

Or someone who triumphs.

Ask yourself anew,

What's in the way, other than you?

How can you overcome this?

A sure way: take what you believe in and form a streaming strategy. Now it is not just a dream but a vision. A flowing plan of action, leading you to a specific goal. To attain anything, you need focus, commitment, and sheer will.

You cannot escape hardships, disappointment, and failure. No one can. If you want to achieve something, you need to be ready to accept these setbacks. Endure through it and learn your lessons.

The question remains:

Are you ready to work through hardships, disappointment, and failure?

Are you ready to take that leap of faith for yourself?
