"I vow to fiercely love you in all your forms, now and forever. I promise to never forget that this is a once in a lifetime love. And to always know in the deepest part of my soul that no matter what challenges might carry us apart, we will always find our way back to each other."

When two people fall in love. And when I say love I mean the one in its purest form. The one where nights and days make no difference, nobody else matters, your life seems to have a purpose which you strived to seek for so long and yet never stumbled upon. Love that is so real, it gives a new definition to every other emotion. While every minute with that special someone runs so fast, days and months pass in a snap, every second without them feels worthless.

Paige is Leo's love at first sight and they fall in love like that's what they'd been born for. They look at each other like nothing else around them exists and they share this bond, celebrate it by tying the knot. Their lives get distressed when Paige loses her memory in a car accident. She has no memory of Leo, he's nothing but a stranger to her. We can't possibly imagine what Leo was going through and he takes us aback by not giving up on his love.

Leo made those vows when he hadn't the slightest of ideas what the future held for him and the love of his life but you know he meant his every word when his life falls apart, the whole universe seems to be mocking him and Paige doesn't even know who he is. How do you not fall in love with a character so wholesome, so beautifully framed, and inspired by a real-life Leo? Leo sets the bar of loving someone way high up and keeps surpassing them himself. He doesn't let any opportunity pass to prove his love for Paige and what do you know, Paige starts looking at him the way she always did before.

It always gets ugly.

Ugly, the one you need only and absolute patience to deal with.

No bond, how much ever unique and special sustains its novelty. Because that's the ultimate truth: it is, in fact, getting old.

But what lies in your hands, is if you let it grow fragile with the age.

It gets beyond imagination. Beyond " I will stay beside you no matter what " and " I will love you no matter what". Because you don't know what "what" is going to be.

As two people who decided to stay together for as long as destiny lets them, you jump over and slide through hurdles that are nowhere close to your image of an ideal relationship. For Leo and Paige is was this monumental milestone that could make their lives turn in any direction.

The emotional strength he had to gather up. Not just for the big times, but moments when he'd rather slam a table and break a glass. Instead, he decided to breathe and smile. Smile for the sake of her, for them.

The 2012 American romantic drama film directed by Michael Sucsy, Channing Tatum playing Leo and Rachel McAdams playing Paige shows you a whole new face of ‘being in love'. It makes you question, are you willing to smile when your heartaches to give up at once?

You can't answer that, cause only time does.
